Blue Chocolate Snowshoe Kittens

Gretel is our first Snowshoe. We bought her because we wanted a posh looking cat but with the easy going temperament of a moggie. Snowshoes are adventurous and playful but are really cuddly and honest (a bit like a dog). Like many Snowshoes, Gretel is facinated with water- she tries to jump in the bath all the time! She also will play fetch, which is lovely on an evening when you're watching TV. She loves children and is very gentle with them. Gretel is chunkier than other "foreign" breeds. I specifically chose her for her round face (some Snowshoes have more siamesy faces) and when we took her to a show the judges particularly liked her roundness (she entered 4 classes and got a Merit (best), 2 seconds and a third).

Peanut is Gretel's daughter. Her father is Purr Prints Austin Powers- a Canadian imported Snowshoe. Peanut is extremely confident, cheeky and loving. She follows us around like a dog and constantly fetches toys for us to throw. She gets on really well with all the other cats and loves to perch on my shoulder whilst I do jobs around the house.

Apparently some Snowshoe cats like water, many of them also like to play fetch.
